Beetroot is notorious for its “ earthy taste”. One of the ways to mask that earthy taste so you can enjoy your beetroot juice or smoothie is by adding sweet fruits. I can guarantee you that you’ll enjoy it.

Today I am sharing a very simple recipe with you, which I will like you to try. You can choose one of the grapes to add to your beetroot juice to make it more bearable.

My Heart BEETS For You Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

½ Raw Beetroot

A Handful of raspberries

2 Strawberries

8 Black Grapes

8 Red Grapes

A tall cup of water

SWAPS

Keep Beets

Keep Red Apples

Keep Strawberries

Keep Red grapes

Swap raspberries for red/black grapes

Swap water for coconut water

PREPARATION

Wash, peel and chop your beets and the stalk into small pieces and place them in your blender, add your base and blend for one minute.  Add your other ingredients and blend on FULL power until it is smooth. Serves two people.

Remember you have to put in the work to see the results.
