Superfoods are a great form of vitamins and can be used in lots of our daily food intake such as smoothies and soups. One of my favourite superfoods is chia seeds, moringa, spirulina and flaxseeds. These superfoods have so many benefits and are very easy to digest.
If you are looking for a smoothie to fill you in the morning then this is the right smoothie for you . The thing with adding oats/granola to your smoothie is that it fills up with lots of fiber until lunchtime
Today I am making a superfood smoothie with flaxseeds.

INGREDIENTS
1 Whole Banana
¼ Cucumber
A small bowl of granola/oats
A small cup of coconut milk
A small cup of flaxseeds
A handful of spinach
A tall cup of water
SWAPS
Swap Banana for Mango or Pineapple
Swap Cucumber for Celery ( Celery haters look away now)
Swap Coconut milk for any other plant based milk
Swap Spinach for any edible green leaf such as Kale, Efo Tete, African Spinach
PREPARATION
Serves 2
Add your green leaf and coconut milk to the blender, blend for 1min on full power , shake then add all the other ingredients.
Blend properly until all your contents are smooth.
You can drink this 4 times a week and give yourself a month to see the difference.
Remember you have to put in the work to see the results.
